Scenephile is a free, browser-based creative studio that turns Letterboxd profiles into interactive 3D and 2D cards. The visual renderer runs directly in your browser. You can use the studio as a guest without an account, or optionally sign in to save your cards across devices.

2. Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

Scenephile is an independent fan-made application. Scenephile is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Letterboxd, The Movie Database (TMDB), YouTube, Pinterest, Poly Haven, or GIPHY.

All company names, logos, product names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Mention of these platforms is purely descriptive to identify third-party compatibility and public media sources.

3. Public Data & Third-Party Content

Scenephile references publicly accessible media and information solely upon user request for personalized card rendering and editorial fan showcase:

• —Letterboxd & TMDB: Public profile details (favorites, recent logs, avatar) and film poster imagery are retrieved from publicly accessible pages and databases for personal, non-commercial fan appreciation. Movie titles, poster art, and trademarks remain the property of their respective studios and creators.
• —YouTube: Soundtrack playback streams public audio tracks via the official YouTube IFrame player. Scenephile does not host, store, copy, or distribute copyrighted audio files.
• —Pinterest & GIPHY: Visual backgrounds and avatar searches connect users to publicly shared imagery and GIFs hosted on their original platforms.
• —Poly Haven: 3D studio lighting maps are utilized under their open Creative Commons CC0 public domain license.

4. Your Content & Exports

You retain all rights to any card configurations, video stories, GIFs, or image stills you create with Scenephile. We claim zero ownership over what you create or export, and you are free to share your cards across social media.

5. Acceptable Use

Please use the studio responsibly. Do not:

• —Attempt to overload, attack, or disrupt the service or third-party APIs.
• —Claim profile handles in bad faith or impersonate other creators.
• —Use the service to distribute unlawful, abusive, or infringing material.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we do our best to maintain high uptime and smooth 3D rendering, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or browser.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scenephile is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
